Paul the Apostle's Secret of Contentment

For many years I meditated over the following verses in Philippians chapter four of the Holy Bible that I will share with you. I contemplated Paul's words inspired by God many a time puzzled how anyone could find satisfaction in life no matter what the situation and I am about to share with you the secret of contentment I found in my lesson from Paul the Apostle.

Quoting from the New Century Version on the Holy Bible:

"I am very happy in the Lord that you have shown your care for me again. you continued to care about me, but there was no way to show it. I am not telling you this because I need anything. I have learned to be satisfied with things I have and with everything that happens. I know how to live when I am poor, and I know how to live when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of being happy any time in everything that happens when I have enough to eat and when I go hungry, when I have more than I need and when I do not have enough. I can do all thing through Christ, because He gives me strength."

Philippians 4:10-13 (Paul the Apostle's letter to the Philippians in the book of Philippians chapter four verses ten through thirteen in the New Testament of the Holy Bible... for those who think this is too elementary an explanation not everyone knows this)
------------

I have not mastered the secret of contentment as Paul did, but here in these verses shows where our strength to find the peace and contentment in the stress of our life can be found. How many of Paul's letters were written by him from jail where he was waist high in sewage? And he still praised God and did the Lord's work until death. My work is writing and sharing so here I am, writing and Sharon shares with you.
